Casualties of War: Special Toy Soldiers
Soldiers who since return from duty in Iraq and Afghanistan are involved in brawls, beatings, rapes, drunk driving, drug deals, domestic violence, shootings, stabbings, kidnapping and suicides.
Three times as many veterans and active service members are dying soon after returning home than those being killed in Iraq and Afghanistan combined.
We hear little about the personal hell soldiers live through after returning home.
This is a tribute to them. By Dorothy.
Its pretty harsh but definitely a strong statement. Wonder if there is a similar version of the innocent victims that die during the wars…

I Am Stuffed Animal
Not the first to be doing this but still worth the post. I Am Stuffed Animal takes your picture and turns it into a cartoon caricature on a plush doll. Get a buddy for your bedroom, desk or to carry around with you at all times to freak people out.

Lego And Muji Join Forces

MUJI partnered with LEGO on a fun new concept. The idea is to punch LEGO-sized holes in paper and then use both the lego pieces and paper to create and build whatever comes to mind.
Available November 27th at MUJI Japan – just in time for the Holiday season. US and European MUJI locations have yet to confirm stock.

UNICEF Toy Soldiers

A smart campaign for UNICEF to raise awareness about the so many child soldiers in Africa who are forced to fight unwillingly for cause they don't understand. The toy soldiers are actually children, some of wich are playing around in the midst of all that they are going through.
The package went to UNICEF supporter mailing lists and potential sponsors.
