Tom Gauld on Diet Coke
Comic artist Tom Gauld has produced some rather lovely work for a new series of cans for Diet Coke...
The limited edition cans are designed to raise awareness of The Heart Truth, the women's heart health program. Gauld also helped create a series of animations for the campaign, two of which can be viewed here.

Around The World With The Bodoni Family
Written by graphic designer Teresa Monachino and printed by The Society of Revisionist Typographers, the 60-page limited edition book "Around The World With The Bodoni Family" cleverly takes a look at the centuries-old font by associating letters with places.
Using the Bodoni typeface, Monachino illustrates a geographic location with each letter of the alphabet—such as the letter A designed to represent the Alps (pictured above) and a leaning letter I representing Italy (pictured below).
Other locations include Olympia (pictured below, left) and Disneyland (below, right), highlighting both the font and Monachino's imaginative personality, more of which can be seen in her book "Words Fail Me" from Phaidon.
Complete with a foreword written by Dan Cruickshank and signed by both him and Monachino, "Around The World With The Bodoni Family" is an essential addition to any designer's bookshelf. A small run of only 40, the book can be purchased for £95 from the London Design Museum Shop or by emailing Studio Monachino.

Dirt Poster
The future belongs to the few of us still willing to get our hands dirty.
"Designed by Roland Reiner Tiangco, Dirt Poster requires your participation to complete it. The back side of each poster is covered with a layer of ink, which you need to “paint” onto the front side the poster, to reveal the message that has been spot-varnished onto the paper. Awesome! The poster is limited edition and can be bought for $80.

Coca Cola: Peace One Day

A limited edition Coca-Cola can to support Peace Day:
"Basically for the first time in the history of Coca-Cola, they have created a unique charity can, on behalf of Peace One Day which is a charity that Jude Law, Annie Lennox and Lenny Kravitz are the main ambassadors for.
Peace One Day is a global charity that has a fixed calendar day called Peace Day which takes place on the 21st September, a day supported by the UN that promotes global ceasefire and non-violence around the world. The idea of the day is to promote peace around the world whilst undertaking life-saving activities, it is also an opportunity for individuals - particularly young people - to become involved in the peace process. Just to give you an idea of the good work they do in 2008 they vaccinated 1.8 million children against polio in Afghanistan.
To raise awareness, 1.1 million 330ml Coca-Cola cans with the Peace One Day logo and 'what will you do' pledge on will be on sale from September encouraging people to think about what they will do on Peace Day."
