Everyday Items Made of Wood
New York based artist Randall Rosenthal creates unique wooden sculptures everyday household objects.
Each sculpture is hand carved from a single block of wood and then carefully painted with ink and acrylic to look incredibly like the real thing.

Dirt Poster

"Color Picker is an innovative design for a concept pen that can scan colors from anything around, then instantly use the color for drawing.
After placing the pen against an object, the user presses the scan button. The color is detected by a color sensor and the RGB cartridge of the pen mixes the required inks to create the target color. With Color Picker, artists can create a more accurate, visual rendering of their surroundings and the colors of nature."

The structure of the glasses has an internal channel where the colourful ink passes through, painting it with the colours you desire, allowing you to have a different look every time you want.

Ink Calendar
"Ink Calendar" makes use the timed pace of the ink spreading on the paper to indicate time.The ink is absorbed slowly, and the numbers in the calendar are "printed" daily. One a day, they are filled with ink until the end of the month. A calendar self-updated, which enhances the perception of time passing and not only signaling it.
