Marina Bay Sands Hotel
The Marina Bay Sands is the world's most expensive hotel in Singapore, and with a world's largest outdoor pool at 55th storey.
"The infinity pool on the roof is in the 'SkyPark' which spans the three towers of the hotel. The platform itself is longer than the Eiffel tower laid down and is one of the largest of its kind in the world.
Infinity pools give the effect that the water extends to the horizon. In reality, the water spills over the edge into a catchment below, and is then pumped back into the pool."

Pushpin Portraits
Born in California and now residing in Northern Michigan, 33 year old husband, father and artist Eric Daigh creates portraits by putting ordinary pushpins in posterboard. Daigh uses blue, red, white, yellow and black push pins (he sprays green pushpins black since there are no black pushpins) to create his masterpieces. Each portrait requires about 11,000 pushpins which Daigh applies by one at a time.

World Record House Of Cards
American architect Bryan Berg has succeeded himself as the world record holder in number of cards stacked. Bryan Berg used 218,792 cards (4,051 decks) to create a replica of the Venetian Macau with no glue or other aids to hold them together.
Berg took 44 days to complete his model inside the Venetian, which sits at the heart of Macau's Cotai Strip, the China-ruled city's version of Las Vegas' neon alley. The hotel replica stands almost ten feet tall and is 33 feet long! Cool!

Versace, Dubai Gets The World’s First Refrigerated Beach!

Another record breaker for Dubai! This time its a refrigerated beach next to the new Palazzo Versace hotel due to open late this year or early 2010. Dubai's heat never stopped any tourists from enjoying the beach but hey...what the heck...right?!
The beach will feature an array of heat-absorbing pipes under its sands, gigantic wind blowers, and a cooled swimming pool, all of which are under the control of thermostats linked to computers.
