Decorative Storage Space
I just love these laser cut doors for built-in storage used in the kitchen and other areas of this apartment; A single-family apartment for four people situated in a stately building in southern Amsterdam. The latest project by i29.
Everything inside the storage spaces become part of the design.

Riveli Shelving
Mark Kinsley, a product designer, developed space-saving fold-down shelves known as Riveli Shelving. Not only do they fold up and down in many configurations, but you can customize them by creating your own design on the front of the panels. So basically artwork that turns into shelves.
You can find Riveli Shelving at Iconic Revolution.
Kinsley is currently in search of a manufacturer who will help him create a drop-in panel system so that you can change out the panel designs too!

Land Peel
Land Peel is a furniture developed by Japanese industrial design student Shin Yamashita from the Kyoto Institute of Technology. It is a flat three piece mat set from which a table, seat or rest can be made simply by lifting the panels. When done using, the furniture can be discreetly tucked away.
The flexibility of the lounge floor mat makes it ideal for all leisurely activities such as
watching television, studying, lying down, or reading a book.
