Tim Burton At MoMA

The Tim Burton exhibit at MoMA in New York City is "a staggering look at the depth of Burton’s work that starts from pages torn out of childhood notebooks, runs through his student years at California Institute of the Arts and rounds out with his expansive film career. From Pee-wee’s Big Adventure, to Edward Scissorhands, to Batman, to The Nightmare Before Christmas, to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and beyond."

Here are some images from the opening party at the MoMA. The exhibit runs through April 26, 2010.

Connect The Dots

New york city based designer Edith Levin created this collection of dinnerware featuring a connect the dots motif. The series of pieces were created based on the theme of childhood. Each piece features a connect the dots puzzle in the shape of a common food such as corn, carrots or asparagus. The cup and standard dinner plate feature a puzzle of themselves created as an outline of the dish. The playful series brings some humor to the dinner table with a touch of nostalgia.
