Pantone's 2011 Color Of The Year
With PANTONE’s announcement of last year’s color of the year for 2010 — 15-5519 Turquoise — every magazine, blog and website was littered with turquoise, blue-green, teal and any shade bearing the slightest resemblance to turquoise.
PANTONE continues its fashion and home decor domination by declaring 2011′s color…

Located on the Place Loix in Brussels, the themes available for the 59 rooms are "earthy, rich," "daring, fiery," "vibrant, intense," "cheerful, warm," "captivating, esteemed, silky," "fresh, eager" and "tranquil, aquatic, exhilarating."

Pantone Inspired Chocolate Packaging
Abanico Chocolat is a French chocolate brand with unique packaging that (as a designer) reminds me a lot of a Pantone swatch guide. It's a pretty effective way to showcase slim ganache-filled pralines with their descriptive information in an organized way.

I Heart Pantone
For you non-designers out there, Pantone is a trademark. Its a system for matching colors, used in specifying printing inks: Pantone colors.
As for you designers, wouldnd't you just love to have the whole collection?!
Actually, I was recently in Milan, wondering if I should my colleagues at work the typical "milanese panettone", but I thought it would just be a hassle for me to carry and manage in the plane. Its quite big. If I had seen those however (last picture), I wouldn't have hesitated a bit!
