Sharpie Liquid Graphite Pencil
The guys at Sharpie have reinvented the permanent marker with their liquid graphite pen. The Sharpie Liquid Pencil writes like a pen, erases like a pencil, and becomes permanent after 3 days. Woohoo!
Available in stores staring September 2010.

Every Designers Dream Come True...(Sigh)!!!

This is the latest fantasy technology by designer Michael Powers.
Its an 81-inch by 31-inch digital blackboard and work table. It has everything a designer could ever want; such as Photoshop, a virtual keyboard and mouse, markers, tape, rulers, a digital camera and an external hard drive. You can flip the board vertically for presentations. As said on Design Crave; "Pricing and availability? One million Space Bucks, when pigs fly."

Typographic Marks Unknown: The Ampersand by Alexander Charchar
"Originally a shorthand mark for et, Latin for and, the ampersand has a very traceable and visible evolution. Simply put, the & is not much more than e and t coming together. The ampersand is a marriage of the two letters, which came about through rushed writings and abbreviation starting at its birth around 45AD."via retinart.net

Trace of Time

This was sent to me by a colleague at work.
This clock not only tells time but you can actually make a note on the clock which is made of tempered glass. The cool part is that the hand of the clock is an eraser, so the written messages are automatically erased once the due time is passed!
Thank you vik!
