S.T Dupont MiniJets

A pretty cool initiative by S.T Dupont. Known for its classic luxury lighters with the signature "clinking" sound once closed, the brand has always aimed for the more "mature" crowd.

Today, S.T Dupont has decided to widen its target to include a younger generation with the launch of their very compact, flashy, spicy and exotic new incarnations. There are 14 trendy colors such as; Fuchsia Buzz, Bleu Eclectique, and Orange Fizz.

To promote the MiniJet series, Dupont has launched a Facebook app whereby you can send coded messages to your list of friends based on the choice of colors you choose. Pretty cool!

Luxury Jewelry Collection Inspired by Alice In Wonderland

The Brazilian brand H.Stern in partnership with Disney has released an extraordinary luxury collection of unusual ring inspired by “Alice in Wonderland” of Tim Burton. Strange roses, colorful mushrooms, bird from beautiful garden, the Cheshire Cat, Jabberwocky and other wonders.

The collection consists of five rings that are all made of gold. Some items are covered with colored enamel and adorned with diamonds. All products are made under order, and like in the movie, sizes/proportions can vary considerably depending on what you want. The jewelry can be ordered in two sizes - “human dimension” and “extraordinary dimension” which are enormous sculptures.

Brace yourselves though, they're insanely expensive!

Topiary Garden
The ring is made of hundreds of gold leaves, which form a tree, trimmed in the form of birds. Price: $7.450

Cheshire Cat
The ring is also made of gold. The Cheshire cat's wide smile glows in the dark. Price: $20.500

Jabberwocky
The body of a dragon made of black gold and encrusted with diamonds. Price: $8.690

Mushroom Forest
Reminiscent of the magic mushrooms but with diamonds. Price: $18.000

Living Flowers
Look more like dead flowers to me but turns out they get a beautiful purple hue in the light. Price: $23.000

Marina Bay Sands Hotel

The Marina Bay Sands is the world's most expensive hotel in Singapore, and with a world's largest outdoor pool at 55th storey.

"The infinity pool on the roof is in the 'SkyPark' which spans the three towers of the hotel. The platform itself is longer than the Eiffel tower laid down and is one of the largest of its kind in the world.

Infinity pools give the effect that the water extends to the horizon. In reality, the water spills over the edge into a catchment below, and is then pumped back into the pool."

Rocks: A Luxurious Substitute For Ice Cubes

“Rocks” are a luxurious version of the Nordic Rock Ice Cubes that I posted about a while back.

The stainless steel cubes are chilled before being added to the beverage. “Rocks” control beverage temperature between 15˚ and room temperature depending on the number of “Rocks” used. The product adds a luxurious weight to the glass and will not over chill or dilute the beverage as ice does.

Heynsdyk 2500 SF

The Heynsdyk 2500 SF bears a brand you may never have heard of, producing a sports car you may never have seen.  Its design is at once classic and contemporary, a fusion of influences from the BMW Z roadster to the Weismann Roadster and the classic racers of the 1940’s and 50’s.

Underneath the hood of the Heynsdyk 2500 SF– this beauty is all Porsche, 944 to be exact.  This Heynsdyk is actually a kit car built around the platform of Porsche 944 of the mid-80s.
The best part about picking up a Heynsdyk 2500 SF is its price.  The kit alone can be had for roughly $20,000 USD, but you’ll need to get your hands on a healthy Porsche 944 or 944S first.

If you want to pick up a complete Heynsdyk, it’ll cost you around $50,000 USD– still a great price for a car that you’ll never see two of on the road.
