A few new stencils by one of my favorite urban artists, Banksy, have emerged near Regent’s Canal in Camden, London. Coming right at the tail-end of the Copenhagen climate talks, Banksy references the touchy subject matter in one of his pieces.

Lebanon In Action For The Environment

"A Lebanese environmental activist stands inside a room made out of glass on the sidewalk of Beirut's Ain al-Mreisseh neighborhood on October 16, 2009. The activist intends to endure the hot atmosphere of his glass room and the increasing water level by locking himself inside for three days and nights in an act which symbolizes the negative outcomes and the dangers of global warming."

'Melting Men' by Nele Azavedo




Brazilian artist Nele Azevedo, carved 1,000 figures out of ice and placed them on the steps of the concert hall in berlin's gendarmenmarkt square. With temperatures of 23 degress celsius, the ice figures began melting within half an hour.
