Spoonachos

My brother sent me the link to this incredible creation :D (Thanx Bro!)

Spoonachos! Awesome to manages your salsa to chip ratio!! Gizmodo calls them the Holy Grail of Chips and I have to agree :D

Sadly, Spoonachos are only a concept at the moment, designed by Denis Bostandzic. But I have a gut feeling that it won't be too long before we see them in supermarkets! Definitely hope so!...

Reversed Volumes

Mischer Traxler's "Reversed Volumes" captures the imprint of a fruit/vegetable and shapes a new bowl.

The space between a vessel and a fruit/vegetable is filled with ceramics. After the original organic material is taken away, the bowl preserves the actual imprint. Each bowl is as unique as the actual fruit/vegetable.

Connect The Dots

New york city based designer Edith Levin created this collection of dinnerware featuring a connect the dots motif. The series of pieces were created based on the theme of childhood. Each piece features a connect the dots puzzle in the shape of a common food such as corn, carrots or asparagus. The cup and standard dinner plate feature a puzzle of themselves created as an outline of the dish. The playful series brings some humor to the dinner table with a touch of nostalgia.
